Activities in Finland
Safe Corner works with immigrants in Finland, focusing on support for social wellbeing and integration. The target group are young immigrant girls and women and the vulnerable population living in Vaasa. The organized activities takes place in city hall premises. Currently, two projects are running - IPGAIW and NIGEANTI. We also organise smaller-scale activities such as group activities focusing on mother-daughter interaction.


Sharing Cafe
The new project by Safe Corner supports the ability of women of immigrant background to work and perform effectively. The activities consist of weekly open and close individual councelling
IPGAIW
The IPGAIW activity is a progression of the long-term Safe Corner work as a social well-being and inclusion intervention for immigrant women, rendering support on integration and well-being of young girls, women and thier families through weekly peer groups
NIGEANTI
The NIGEANTI project focuses on the everyday challenges faced by Nigerian and African teenagers living in a multicultural environment. The project also involves the supporting of interaction between these teenagers, their parents and having a balanced school life.
Safe Corner offers customised courses and lectures for students and professionals in their respective fields.
